Non-aficionados (there must be a Muggle-type term for that – griddles, maybe, or cruciphobes? Cryptwits – too derogatory? Let’s call them nonlaterals) might think it the first ever blog by a compiler – highly unlikely. The most widely read – definitely not. The dullest – possibly.
No, as any non-nonlateral will already have spotted, ‘British record’ in a cryptic clue would be B for British followed by log as a synonym for record – B-log. Which makes me a British record-holder. Along with every other blogger.
